It’s important to bear in mind that Architecture is much more than just art, as it involves physic and mathematical matters which are complex and wide. The proof is that along the years, architecture features have evolved in so many aspects. For example the different materials, which were at first all natural and now are artificially made, or the technology used. This different parts relate between each other, because all of them affect directly to the evolution of the other ones. For instance, the use of modern materials such as reinforced concrete lead to the possibility of creating new shapes and structures.
I think this is a fantastic point to study the evolution of architecture in so many characters, and I can stop wondering which will be the features in architecture in the future. In fact, I consider that investigation is also important for the development of this discipline, as it was for example the discovery of concrete atributes or masonry design.
